Samsung announces Android 7.0 Nougat program for Galaxy S7, S7 Edge smartphones

NEW DELHI: Samsung has launched its Android 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones. The program for now is limited to users in the US, UK and Korea. The company also said the program will expand to China in the coming days.
Last year, the company offered a similar beta programme for Android Marshmallow OS on Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones.
The users will have to install the Galaxy Beta programme app from the Galaxy app store. Once downloaded, users can test the major updates and provide feedback about the OS's performance on their devices.
Unfortunately, those using the limited edition Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games or the Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition won't be able to become a part of the program.
